Avaliação da técnica de inoculação manual de solução salina na câmara de ar e no albúmen e sua influência sobre a eclodibilidade e desenvilvimento embrionário

| dc.description.abstract | Este trabalho é resultado de um estudo experimental desenvolvido no Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia de Minas Gerais – Campus Bambuí, com o objetivo de avaliar os efeitos da técnica de inoculação manual de solução salina (soro fisiológico) no albúmen e na câmara de ar de ovos férteis, realizada no dia 0 de incubação, sobre a eclodibilidade e o desenvolvimento embrionário. Foram utilizados 150 ovos férteis de matrizes caipiras com 40 semanas de idade, divididos em três tratamentos: CP - controle positivo (sem inoculação), ALB - inoculação no albúmen e CA - inoculação na câmara de ar, sendo cada grupo composto por 50 ovos. A análise estatística foi conduzida utilizando o teste de Kruskal-Wallis. Os resultados indicaram que a inoculação no albúmen proporcionou maior taxa de descarte e maior mortalidade embrionária inicial, reduzindo numericamente o número de pintinhos eclodidos, embora estatisticamente os tratamentos não tenham apresentado diferença significativa (P>0,05). Já a inoculação na câmara de ar apresentou desempenho semelhante ao grupo controle, sugerindo ser uma alternativa viável. Concluiu-se que a inoculação de 0,2 mL de solução salina no albúmen no primeiro dia de incubação não é recomendada, podendo comprometer a estrutura interna do ovo e interferir negativamente no desenvolvimento embrionário. A técnica aplicada na câmara de ar mostra-se promissora e pode ser considerada em futuras pesquisas visando a nutrição in ovo precoce. O estudo destaca a necessidade de mais investigações para determinar o local e o volume ideais de inoculação de soluções nos ovos incubáveis. | |
| dc.description.abstract1 | This work is the result of an experimental study conducted at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Minas Gerais – Campus Bambuí, aimed at evaluating the effects of the manual inoculation technique with saline solution (physiological saline) in the albumen and air cell of fertile eggs, performed on day 0 of incubation, on hatchability and embryonic development. One hundred and fifty fertile eggs from free-range hens at 40 weeks of age were used, divided into three treatments: CP - positive control (no inoculation), ALB - inoculation in the albumen, and CA - inoculation in the air cell, with each group consisting of 50 eggs. Statistical analysis was conducted using the Kruskal-Wallis test. The results indicated that inoculation in the albumen led to a higher discard rate and increased early embryonic mortality, numerically reducing the number of hatched chicks, although statistically, the treatments did not show significant differences (P>0.05). On the other hand, inoculation in the air cell showed performance similar to the control group, suggesting it as a viable alternative. It was concluded that the inoculation of 0.2 mL of saline solution in the albumen on the first day of incubation is not recommended, as it may compromise the internal egg structure and negatively interfere with embryonic development. The technique applied in the air cell shows promise and may be considered in future research aimed at early in ovo nutrition. The study highlights the need for further investigation to determine the ideal location and volume of solution inoculation in incubatable eggs. | |
