Abstract
This article highlights the importance of human resources management in a constantly evolving job market, emphasizing the need for organizations to adapt to face present and future challenges. A critical and up-to-date approach to workforce sizing strategies is essential to ensure effectiveness and success. Workforce Sizing (DFT) is fundamental in this context, involving the determination of the ideal number of workers to perform specific tasks. However, there is no single technique for performing DFT, given its complexity. A strategic, data-based approach is fundamental, as is the use of the Product Attribution Map (MAP). The case study presented illustrates the practical application of the DFT by Competency technique, highlighting its importance for effective workforce management.
