Abstract
The one-way waffle slab, popularly known as prefabricated slabs, precast slabs or lattice slabs, are composed of joist with lattice reinforcement, filler elements, concrete layer and distribution reinforcement. This constructive system has numerous advantages, highlighting the ease of assembly, execution, reduced own weight and economy, its use has been increased in small and medium buildings as an alternative to reinforced concrete slab, making it possible to overcome large spans. Its sizing consists of the correct choice of the lattice reinforcement to be used, which can be calculated as a T-section beam, and afterwards the distribution and counter-cracking reinforcement ought to be added. Therefore, this work aimed to develop a software that helps professionals and students in structural calculations demanding the sizing and verification of this sort of element according to the normative instructions provided in ABNT NBR 6118:2014.
