Levantamento da temática ambiental dentro do curso de Agronomia do IFMG - Campus Bambuí

The environmental theme has been gaining more and more visibility in society, which has been interested in a more sustainable development of planet Earth. Knowledge of this subject is very important for students of the Agronomy course, given the characteristics necessary for their professional performance. Thus, this work aimed to analyze whether the information regarding the environmental theme within the Agronomy course at IFMG – Campus Bambuí contributes to the formation of this professional. Documents related to teaching, research projects and course extension projects were collected and analyzed. Of all the compulsory subjects offered in the course, eight listed in the Pedagogical Project of the Course are related to environmental issues. Among the optional disciplines, two disciplines are presented as a possibility for the student to deepen his knowledge in the environmental theme. Regarding the projects, in five research projects and nine extension projects, with an environmental character, there was the participation of Agronomy students. The Campus offers students opportunities to deepen their knowledge and awareness of environmental issues, through Research and Extension Projects, aligned with the contents of the teaching disciplines.
