Abstract
"The industry, in constant evolution, demands continuous development of new products to ensure relevance in a highly competitive environment. Therefore, reducing development time in this scenario is a priority, and for this, computational simulation emerges as a strategic tool to anticipate the behavior of new products during production processes, aiming to optimize resources. The resistant welding spot process, especially in the automotive industry, is widely adopted due to its high productivity and low operational cost. For this reason, it becomes a prevalent method in the design of various products in the industrial sector. Anticipating the product's behavior in production processes is done through analyses known as feasibility analyses. However, manually conducting the feasibility analysis for these spot welds by product analysts proves to be a complex task, subject to challenges such as injuries and human errors. The automation of this process emerges as a solution, not only to reduce analysis time but also to increase reliability, mitigating potential human errors. The relevance of 3D software, highlighting Siemens NX with its NX Open API, is essential for the automation of spot weld feasibility analysis, thus contributing to a more optimized product development.
