Abstract
OLIVEIRA. L. I. S. M. Evaluation of the efficiency of fungicides to control the fungus Colletotrichum truncatum – the etiologic agent of soybean anthracnose. Bambuí: IFMG Campus Bambuí, 2023. 31 p. Soybean anthracnose, caused by the fungus Colletotrichum truncatum, is a foliar disease that significantly affects the productivity and quality of soybean crops in various regions of the world and has been causing several losses, mainly economic. The use of fungicides is one of the main strategies for controlling this disease, however, it is essential to evaluate the efficiency of these products in combating the pathogen, as products are not always as efficient as we expect, for various reasons, whether due to climate, humidity, temperature or even the environment. In this work, a study was carried out to evaluate the efficiency of different fungicides, with different active ingredients in the control of Colletotrichum truncatum, through a bioassay using 9ml of PDA culture medium in petri plates, together with 1ml of the product of each treatment, where the product was diluted in stock solution with pure acetone and distilled water and subsequently diluted in pure distilled water to obtain the solution at 100ppm and added to the plates next to the culture medium. Then the plates received the mycelium with a diameter of 5mm from the isolate by subcultured plates with the original isolate, sealed with plastic film and taken to the B.O.D at 25° C. The evaluations were started the next day, using a digital parking meter measuring the x and y axis, always being carried out every 24 hours until the witness took the entire license plate. The evaluations lasted 11 days, the data were analyzed by the sisvar system through the Scott Knott test at 5% and the averages by the IVCM - mycelial growth velocity index. After data analysis, it was verified that the Score flexi product was the most efficient for the control of the isolate. As it is not a registered product for soybean anthracnose, it was suggested that studies be carried out to prove why unregistered products are more efficient than registered ones, in order to provide useful information for decision-making on the management of soybean anthracnose soy.
