Abstract
This research has the general objective of investigating how the use of comic books, as a methodology, can develop, in everyday classroom life, new ways of approaching Physics, in order to gain students' interest in science in general. To this end, regarding the approach, we started with a qualitative methodology, of a bibliographic nature; in which articles were selected whose discussions reflected on the relevance of comics as a Physics teaching tool; and quantitative, with field analysis, in which a didactic sequence was applied to 1st year high school students. The philosophical strands chosen to support the methodological approach were behaviorism, which focuses on observable behavior as a result of interactions between the individual and their environment; in addition to constructivism, which the approach focuses on constructing meanings through students' personal experiences and interactions, as defended by Vygotsky. For data analysis, a pre-diagnosis and a postdiagnosis questionnaire were prepared, the first consisting of eight questions and the second with 9. Data analysis showed that the application of the didactic sequence was effective in students learning Physics, this is because the use of Comics, as a teaching resource, was able to stimulate their curiosity and interest in the content, favoring the understanding of concepts and their application in everyday situations. Furthermore, the didactic sequence allowed students to interact with the material, stimulating reflection and discussion of ideas. Therefore, the use of comic books can be an effective resource in promoting Physics learning, as it contributes to a clearer and more practical understanding of the concepts.
